Document Management

Triage Data Solutions is a full-service document management company specializing in scanning, printing, photocopying, optical character recognition (OCR), electronic document conversion and database coding.

Document Scanning/Imaging

Triage has an experienced team of document scanning personnel available for any sized scanning project. Whether the work is done at our office, or on-site at your facility, you can be confident that Triage will get the job done accurately, cost effectively, and on time. Any size or shape document can be scanned, including fragile or over-sized items; any output format can be produced, including single or multi-page TIFF, searchable or image-only PDF, JPG, and so on. Load files will also be provided for.

Coding (Indexing)

Suppose you need to find all the documents authored by a person in 1995. Using traditional paper-based methods, this is very time consuming. Using a database that’s been indexed, this search would take only seconds.

Computer Forensics Investigation

Obtaining and preserving evidence from clients, potential witnesses, and other litigant’s computers in today’s high-tech world is essential in any thorough investigation or civil litigation. Our computer forensics processes accomplish in hours what used to take law enforcement officials and IT professionals days or weeks. Our unique software and hardware tools allow us to easily manage the evidence and view all relevant files including:

  • Formatted Hard Disk Drives
  • Deleted Files
  • File Slack
  • Other unallocated data on a computer

Integration of these functions allows us to thoroughly search all levels of media and recover images and data to generate reports that are clear, concise, and most importantly, understandable and accepted as evidence by the Courts. Not one single byte on the examined computer is altered. The final submitted reports include verification of original data integrity with clear and concise chain of custody. This irrefutably establishes the authenticity of the recovered data.

Electronic Discovery

Once your electronic evidence has been gathered, you need a way to efficiently review it for relevance and privilege.  Triage can provide you with an inexpensive load file for Summation, Concordance or other program that will allow you to review the native files and tag what you want to convert to images.  This is very cost-effective in cases where approximately 50% of the electronic files may be irrelevant.  The duplicates are marked, or excluded, and we can run search terms to limit what you need to review even further.  Once you decide what you need to produce, we can convert those electronic files directly to image files for less than the cost of printing to paper.  With years of experience and the latest technology, Triage can make electronic discovery a seamless part of your discovery process.

Electronic Record Books
